Xin Chào Baby was my senior capstone project at USM. This project is mainly themed flashcards for young kids to learn Vietnamese and English. The project consisted of drawing illustrations for each card, a hand drawn typeface, and organizing each pack by theme. Each card is front and back with one side in English and the opposite side in Vietnamese with pronunciation. The kid on the front of the packs has hair that gets longer indicating the growth of the kid as they go through each pack. Expanding the flashcards to other materials I created a children’s book to coincide with the flashcards, an informative poster, magazine ads, and social media posts.
